Today, I was joined by my expedition mate, Mr. Tyler Sanders.  He comes from New York City!  He will be with me for the entire month!  I have not seen him since last year - good times and good friends with another Grosvenor Teaching Fellow!

Today we had a great mix of things.  We went on a walking tour.  This was a 45 minute excursion around the city blocks of our hotel.  We were given some history of the wealthy families who made and owned mansions in this district.  We had a tour of a very famous cemetery and saw the grave of Evita Peron.  We went to an incredible cathedral, saw the President of Argentina's office.  She is a woman! Then, we travelled to a colorful "shanty" district called, "La Boca."  What a cultural day!  Enjoy the photos!

Hi Mr. S! We just got back from our field trip to the Nutcracker and we are writing to you after eating lunch in our classroom. This week we have been reading "Schools Around the World". In this story we learned about captions. We really like the pictures you have been posting and were wondering if there was any way you could add captions to your pictures because sometimes we have questions about your photos. We are really interested in learning more about the President of Argentina. Do you know anything about her likes or dislikes? Or do you have any other interesting facts you can tell us about her. We can't wait to hear more from you. Love, Us

Hi love bugs! I hope you enjoyed the nutcracker! I will try to add captions to my blog. The internet is very expensive. I try to post things and then get offline as soon as possible. I did learn that the President of Argentina is a woman - and was right by her office! I suppose she likes Opera. She is converting a VERY large post office into a new state of the art Opera House. I didn't learn anything about her beyond that. Miss you all! Mr. S.
